Default Where to buy Mac stuff?

I'm new in Manila, will be here on temporary assignment for about three months. So far, it's been a very interesting experience.

But I can't seem to find an on-line source in the Philippines for purchasing Mac stuff ... any recommendations?

Also, what's the "best" retail store where I can buy Mac stuff?

I want to buy an Airport Express and would love to see/hold one of the new iPods...I think my original 5 gig model is getting ready to go to iPod heaven.

I'm staying in Makati, so someplace convenient to here would be great.

Thanks in advance for your advice and recommendations.

Go to 2nd floor of Greenbelt 1, there's a PowerMac store there. I'm not sure if they alreay carry the new iPods and the AirPort Express.

Ms Portia Paras is on leave. Look for Ms. Diana Borromeo instead.

18 grand for a $199 AirPort Extreme Base Station!?!

That's a great price... if it includes the AirPort Express w/ AirTunes ($129) that hoobner needs. ;-)

    To my new Mac friends,

I must say I'm extremely impressed with how active this group is. And I really appreciate the help you've given me. I'll post a note about my experiences after I check out a few of the shops.

In general, I guess you have to pay a significant premium for Apple stuff here? 18K pesos = about 36K yen, which is much more than I'd pay in Tokyo!

I called Kajal just now and she sells them for P11k, but it's kind of a moot point because she doesn't have any in stock. Her price is much more in line with the US list price though.

    Welcome to PhilMUG, hoobner.
