What are the 3 Things you like the most in the WWDC Keynote Presentation
As I watched the Keynote in QT. I was wondering for the rest as to which among all the ones presented are your 3 favorites? (Hardware, tiger features, etc.)
As for me.
1. Spotlight techonology (search engine in Tiger)
2. Core Image (Wow!!!)
3. Automator - Nice way of making scripts.

Bwahahaha. That would be Frank Casanova, Senior Director of Quicktime Product Marketing. Steve Jobs: "I don't know which is more remarkable, H.264 or Frank's sweater", hahaha. :-)
Forgot another one of my favorites: Native Instruments' Guitar Rig. Loved CEO Daniel Haver's accent, too, hahaha.

I didn't really enjoy this year's WWDC. I guess I was just expecting a bit more. I have absolutely no use for the HUGE displays, let alone afford them; and Tiger 10.4 was a mixed bag. Though it did have some great new features like the updated iChat AV, Spotlight, and Automator, the 'I gotta have this no matter what' feeling never hit. I guess I just feel like Apple could have done more with 10.4. After all, we are paying $130 for it when it comes out.

I liked everything in the WWDC 2004 Keynote.
Actually, I was surprised to have been able to sit through the 1 hr 40 min presentation. IMO, the technologies that Apple are developing are providing a solid framework for the developer community to "blow our minds" with those "killer" apps.
I couldn't help but think about the benefits - finding any file I'd like to look for; having my computer do my regular routine automatically; clearer and better quality when I watch my movies on my mac; the "magic" I'll be able to do on my pictures and chatting with the family (I've decided to get all of them Macs :P) wherever we all will find ourselves when the time comes. Sobrang Galing!
I am lusting for those displays. I am already planning for my system & computer rig upgrade. I am in the process of figuring out how I'll be able to wireless network our house using Airport as soon as we move in, etc. etc...... damn you Apple
The annual Macworld, Apple Expo (Europe), WWDC are great communication vehicles that keep us in the Mac community excited.
What baffles me more is that I've never felt this "connected" to a computer before..... I was just sharing with my wife last night that it was so weird getting so hyped up about my Mac and everything that came with it. I never did care about what Bill Gates says or with what Microsoft intends to do and yet Jobs is making me look forward and anticipate on what Apple will be offering next.
Needless to say, I have no such affinity with my Dell-nyek:dry:.
Its just so weird.....:wound::blush:
