Sharing Warcraft 3
Hi guys,
My brothers are having trouble with Warcraft 3 installed on our iBook. It says that whenever they try to make a profile after mounting the game (I made a disk image), it returns an error saying there isn't enough free space to create the said profile.
When I log in to my account, however, it runs the game fine.
By the way, my profile doesn't appear when they are logged on to their user accounts.
Profile = Warcraft 3 profile
User accounts = Mac User account
First thing I tried is to modify ownership of the Warcraft 3 folder (get info > ownership & permissions), no luck there.
Second... well, that's it. :wound:
By the way, how come my Shared folder isn't accessible by other users (there's a HUGE red prohibitive sign)? Uh, pardon the sarcasm, but it doesn't make absolute sense.

Anyone?
I was able to fix the Shared folder part. But Warcraft still won't work properly.

Maybe you can try doing a Disk Utility - Repair Permissions first.

Hi Steeltoe,
I second Floyd's suggestion.
Just curious, do all of you have "administrator" access to the iBook?
Have you tried setting your brother's User Account to "allow user to administer" just to check if Warcraft will launch properly?
Goodluck,
Christian

I already did permissions repair. Didn't work :wound:
My brothers all have Administrator access.
