That's a good book, but its rather dated. The latest incarnation is "Apple Confidential 2.0", the second edition to the follow-up series. Apple Confidential 2.0 has news up to the PowerMac G5. The previous edition only upto the start of the iMac. I think the Bathroom Reader will cover much more detail on past issues.

For P220 I think its worth it. It should entertain you for hours on end. Owen Linzmeyer is one of the better writers in the Mac world, up among the ranks of David Pogue, Joseph Schorr, Bob Leviticus, Guy Kawasaki, and many others.
