    Default Mac Guestings and Sightings

Was just able to watch the initial episodes of 24 Season 3, which is presented 3 years after where Season 2 left off. I was on the lookout for their "new" macs, Titanium pa din ba?

To my surprise, wow naka-17" albook na si Jack Bauer, and his daughter Kim who is now working at CTU uses a G5 desktop!

Maybe we can add iPods here, too.

I was watching American Idol last night and noticed a 15" TiBook behind Ryan Seacrest when he would deliver his spiels from what seems to be the sound booth.

Got these screen shots from the Two Towers Extended Edition DVD. They used iPods to deliver the effects shots to Peter Jackson in London because they didn't have a high-speed connection from their London office to his hotel room. The guy using the iBook is Duncan Nimmo, an IT Manager. Apparently, he almost got mugged one time on his way to Peter, and it so happened it was also the time that he had the whole movie in the iPod! He noticed a couple of shady looking guys following him and he started going faster and faster until he ended up sprinting all the way to Peter's hotel

Yes. I am an avid 24 watcher since season 1 at kahit nung Season 2 pa lang si Sherry Palmer ay naka iBook G3 na. 2 Brands lang naman ang mayroon: Apple at Dell. Jack Bauer also has his own G5 besides his 17 incher. Almost all of them are using G5s at iniwan na nila yung mga G4 Cubes at PowerMac G4s dahil pinasbog din dati yung Headquarters nila nung mga kasama ni Jack while he was undercover. 3 years has also passed. Unfortunately, CTU's using Dell servers and not Xserves.

FYI, ang latest kong napanood is Season 3 12:00AM-1:00AM.

Ano kaya ang OS ng CTU?! Hindi naman OS X or XP eh.

Also, i've seen some episodes of friends and it's clear that they are using apple computers...but how come they put stickers on the logo? weird.

While channel surfing yesterday, saw a TiBook on Discovery Channel's "XMA - Extreme Martial Arts" & "Just Shoot Me" on Star TV.

Also saw a Power Mac G4 on Studio 23's "Hidden Files".

    Default Lost in Translation

In Lost in Translation, the bonus scenes shows Bill Murray getting made up and he's wearing white headphones = ipod. The scene with the Suntory ad TV shoot shows one of the technicians in the back with a Powerbook. There's one more powerbook or ibook somewhere in this movie too.

But don't waste money on this movie, the gal "heroine" spends most of the movie being very "blur", singaporean slang for being such an airhead and not even a funny one, just a lost rich brat without direction in life. Tsk tsk. What a waste of a movie.

    Default Taken

Taken's getting shown again, and I spotted Dr. mad scientist formerly known as "Max Headroom" had a TiBook , while ugly evil girlfriend with a fat lower lip is a pc user . Oh she takes him out in the end, methinks she couldn't stand the fact he had the speedier, more gorgeous machine. Go figure.
