in praise of lmk

while i was in bicol last week something happened to my os9. i always use 0sx, but sometimes i have to restart in 0s 9 because the large format printer that i use can only print using apple talk, and my classic application doesn't support apple talk.

anyway, while i was opening the pagemaker file in os 9, and while it was importing the links, my computer suddenly shut down. when i turned it on afetr a few minutes, it showed this small icon of a folder at the center of the screen, with a blinking question mark alternating with the 0s9 icon.

turns out some of my files were corrupted and although i have norton, i never use it.

lmk fixed free of charge (care of kajal). and also they cleared out the ants from my logicboard a week before that with just a very minimal charge. and when i called kailash at almost midnight from bicol six months ago regarding a problem with my cd-rom, he was very helpful.

great service! and now three years of apple care comes bundled with all units you buy from them.
