Being a big lego fan (until today) I was so excited to see a lego figure with its own ipod. This company Podbrix is selling or actually was selling 300 limited-edition ipod carrying lego figures. They retailed for $16.99 each but are now all sold out!
Just wanted to share (especially to lego fans out there).
PodBrix is giving away a prototype version of a possible new Lego figure based on Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. The "Woz" figure stands 1.75" tall and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
To enter you just have to submit your e-mail address at their site. You will be added to the PodBrix e-mail list and be entered in the contest. The contest ends March 31, 2005. One winner will be notified via e-mail on or around April 1, 2005."
Podbrix moves on to selling shirts. They call it brixwear, a t-shirt that uses a "magnetic clasp system to make your iPod shuffle part of the t-shirt design.
No modification is needed to your iPod shuffle. Simply place it over the clasp area of the shirt and it locks into place. The shuffle stays firmly attached even with vigorous activity. A quick pull easily removes it from the shirt."
Again it sold out immediatelty.
One question, won't the magnet ruin the disk in the shuffle?
Hey guys just in case you are intersted in getting a podbrix collectible but always end up being too late. Well here's another chance. I got an email that a new collectible will be avaiable on their site April 25. You guys might want to keep an eye out for it.
