Default I j ust upgraded my Mac mini\'s memory (pics)

I just upgraded my Mac mini from 256MB to 1GB. I got the 1GB from Crucial.

I followed the instructions from the PDF document HERE. When replacing the RAM, all you need is a putty knife, no screwdrivers. The only thing a bit hard is when closing the case. The small teeth-like aluminum guides should properly be aligned and pushed inside the case.

I have attached some pics. Note that the 256MB from Apple is PC3200.

According to some people, as long as you don't damage the mini, it's ok.

Yep 1GB memory will definitely improve the performance of any Mac. Congrats on the Mac Mini and on your successful do-it-yourself upgrade
