Encyclopedia Program for Mac

Hi! Can you guys recommend any encyclopedia program for the Mac? Something similar to Encarta?

I agree. World Book is the program your looking for... but if you want a better one get it here. It's pretty extensive

I didnt get one with my Powerbook G4
only a software restore CD

hmm, shouldn't the entire Internet suffice as an encyclopedia? Most of them, if not all, are free!

Encyclopedia.com, Encyclopædia Britannica, MSN Encarta, just to name a few, are there for the taking. Of course, your daughter needs to be online to access.

But if you are looking for an OFFLINE Encyclopedia in CD-ROM or DVD form, then World Book should suffice. My PB didn't come with a copy either.

I think only iMacs and iBooks come with the World Book Encyclopedia

I think it reads "The interweb is the best ever!!!!!!!!!!". Some sort of l33t (read: leet, short for elite I believe) inspired thingamajig I guess. :dry:
