cleaning the exterior of an iBook G4

Hi guys, just wondering how you clean your Mac's exterior, especially the iBook, for my PC before, I use MC (multipurpose cleaner? Anyway, that's the actual brand name) that our school's tech department recommend that I use. Is it safe to use the same for the Mac? I've read about iKlean and what not on some magazines, but I'm not sure if they're available locally.
