Default can i update OS...8.6 directly to 10.1

i was wondering if i can update my OS from 8.6 directly to jaguar? or do i have to update OS 8.6 to 9.2 (classic) to 10.1 (jaguar)???

what is the minumum requirements to update to Jaguar? i will be running it on a iMAC 233mhz.

i am having trouble connecting my DSL and thought it would be easier to connect if i was on Jaguar or Panther.

of course, i have to see if i brought my installation CDs from the states with me.

    well, just let me know.

    thanks.

Hello, cr8zy! I, too, have an iMac 233 Bondi and it's running on 10.3.5. It's not the fastest but it's very easy to use.

You would need to add RAM and a larger HD to make it run OS X. More on this in this thread.

no, you can't do a direct "update"--this is a major upgrade, and to use a bondi imac (i also have one, the original imac, running on panther just fine), you'll need to update the firmware first--VERY important step, or you could end up with a dead screen good luck!
