Apple Keyboard for PC?!
Will the wired Apple Keyboard work with a Windows PC? Is it feasible? I'm planning to buy one since my old PS/2 keyboard is malfunctioning and I want a better replacement since those offered by other companies might not be ergonomic.
Pwede kaya ito?:wound:

Unless you already have one or can get one for cheap, PC keyboards are cheaper than MAC ones, ... otherwise ... GET A MAC !!

I forgot to note that. HOW ABOUT THE INFAMOUS windows key?

If you are using XP, it will automatically detect the Apple keyboard and install the necessary drivers, just make sure you have your windows installer disc because it will ask for it.
Control+Alt+Del will be Control+Option+Delete on the Apple Keyboard
The Win key will be the Apple key.

Yup. Used my Apple Pro Keyboard (USB) to set up the Wintel PC I built for a friend a few weeks back.

Amazing! Will the other features such as the special keys which provide immediate access to the system audio level (volume up, down, mute) as well as ejecting media from the optical drive work as well?

Funny. I use the complete opposite. A Microsoft keyboard on the Mac.
Specifically, the Microsoft Internet Keyboard:

I just downloaded the Mac drivers from Microsoft (MS Intellitype 5.1), and all the keys became functional. Cool to control a lot of things from the row of extra keys on the top edge - back/forward on your browser, volume controls, direct one-button access to software, etc. I actually own three MS Keyboards, an Elite, and an old version of the Internet keyboard which gave up the ghost after several years of use and one especially gigil cleaning session with water and light detergent.
However bad their OSes are, they make great input devices at Redmond. I also use MS mice, having gone through three of them already, using Mac drivers. I know most of you guys would rather use a real rodent than a Microsoft optical mouse, but give them a try.

@rioiphoneuser,
first, welcome to philmug.
it might be better to place your post in the marketplace section (where it actually belongs) rather than resurrecting a 3.5 year old thread. our brother (and sister) philmuggers who normally sell products look for vending opportunities there rather than in threads such as these.
