where does deleted mail go?

I accidentally trached one of my mailbox folders and it's not an undoable action! Is there still away of retrieving the mailbox? Where do banished mail go?

Hi Tisha,

What e-mail client application are you using?

Dunno if this would help but with Netscape Mail, deleting an entire Folder moves it to the Trash Folder within the Application (not the System Trashcan). Simply moving the Folder out of Trash is the easy, quick, fix.

It's been almost a decade since I've used Outlook (or other Microsoft e-mail client) so I'm not sure how this software handles Folder deletion.

Haven't used Apple Mail also.

This might sound like a dumb question, but did you empty your trash ?? If not it might still be in the Trash folder. :roll:
