Finally, got my first mac as a birthday gift for my wife yesterday - an iMac G5 (1.8, 17in).

We're still learning the ropes but the discovery has been enjoyable. Won't abandon my PCs anytime soon but we're truly pleased with the G5.

On a sad note, regrettably, Mike Llorin would have been the first Philmugger I would have broken the news to (being the person most helpful - answering questions, sharing insights).
