    Default Subscribing to .Mac

    My parents wont let me use their credit cards to pay for .Mac since they say its unsafe sooo i was wonderin. Any other way to pay? i have an equitable debit card. will that work? thanks in advance

    hmmm thanks...anyway...about mac mail... im on my 60 day trial.... i used the built in mail application right? i can receive messages fine. but i cant send? can anyone help? oh i tried sending from website it works but that sucks.. i wanna be able to send just by saying send this message...i dunno it has a major coolness factor sorry new mac user haha

    Parents talaga. I personally have no aversion regarding giving out my credit card number online. As long as I see that lock at the bottom of the window, I feel relatively safe.

    Besides, with such a low credit limit, I don't think hackers would benefit much with the one I use to buy stuff online.

    Anyway, sorry, I have no answer to the question since I'm not a .Mac subscriber.

    i thought you needed .mac to get updates etc.. ?

    Nope, you don't need .Mac to get updates. Just run Software Update from System Preferences to get your OS X and Apple Application updates.
