theyre practically the same, but the iskin, in my opinion looks a little bit better. so i got that instead of the xskin.

if you get the isjin keyboard protector for a laptop, you will still need a screen protector cloth that protects the keyboard protector from making contact with the screen. the keyboard protector (iskin) won't protect your screen, just the keyboard. the girl at APPLE, in megamall, showed me what happened to her screen when she thought the keyboard protector would protect both screen and keyboard.

whoops. thanks for the heads up. never thought it could do any damage. but really, ever since getting the iskin, i cant imagine typing away without it - somehow it also acts as a "cushion" when you type. i like the soft bouncy feel.

a simple solution would be: (1) wash the iskin regularly to get the grime off it; and (2) place a clean sheet of bond paper on top of the iskin before you close the lid of your book so that the dirt on the iskin doesnt come in contact with your screen.

it's always best to remove the iskin before you close the laptop over the keyboard. the iskin might end up pushing itself into the screen and create scratches. althought the iskin is thin enough as it is, still apple didn't design their laptops around the use of the iskin pa rin.
