    Default Problems accessing some websites

For some reason, I having been having problems accessing certain websites e.g. my yahoo mail, .mac.com, and even the apple.com home page, I seem to be having great problems entering the site. I tried deleting all my cookies for fear that there may be something there that is causing difficulty in getting into a page but still no help.

    Can anyone help? thanks

Try using a different web browser like Opera.

Tried using internet explorer, same problem. i doubt i will get any difference if i use opera. I suspect it has something to do with pre-setting or something like that, that has caused this problem. My problem is, i don't know how to sort of reset things. I've even tried disk utilities and repairing permissions (not sure what that does, but I did it anyway), still no improvement. Actually, this is happening with both my pb 12 and my windows pc. could it be with the settings in my wrt54g?

After all this time, I had time to go through my whole system and by process of elimination, determined that my problem was with my router, the wrt54g, rather than my pbook or pc's. I then proceeded to go through every single setting and found out that my MTU was the problem. It was set on auto when it should have been set on manual at 1472. Ever since I corrected this, I've had no problems with accessing any website. I also did some research in the knowledge base of linksys and found some explanations regarding mtu. Hope this helps others who may have similar problems.

just a little heads up... if you're using DSL... use 1492 for MTU settings. This is the optimum setting for DSL.

I also have problems accesing some websites. I always get the message "website" could not be found. It bugs me because I can access other pages. I have used explorer, safari and now firefox with the same outcome. What are the things I can do? I use pldt dsl.

    thanks and happy new year.

Yesterday, I couldn't access MacDevCenter. I tried several times and then gave up. After a few hours, I tried again, and there it is. I tried just now, it's there.
