Try installing the Ogg Vorbis plugin available here.

Hey this is great Henjie. Audio purists out there who shun the MP3 format can now get into iTunes for playback. Wonder how it compares to Apple's Lossless Encoder.

Would you like to convert your mp3 files into ogg format?

I'm no expert but I would not want to advise it. If the material is already in mp3 then it has already lost a lot of information and detail which you may want to have kept in choosing ogg.

The best way is to still convert from the original source/CD so that you are still able to retain most of the sound quality.

I'll post a link to a "free ogg converter" once I get to see one here.

here are some apps that can play/or encode Ogg Vorbis files:

    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ – Audicity
    http://oggcarton.sourceforge.net/ – Ogg Carton
    http://www.nouturn.com/index.php – Ogg Drop

    * only encode AIFF files(audio CDs) to Ogg Vorbis, other compressed format like AAC, MP3s will only degrade sound quality.
