Apples can easily connect to a PC-based local area network.

What do you mean by double OS? You can run windows on a mac using Virtual PC.

    Switching to MAC?
This is one decision you wont regret!

Well, before getting one... ask yourself kung saan mo
    sya gagamitin.
    Home use/Hobby/Internet (iMacG5, eMAc)
    Portability (PBook, iBook),
    Biz (G5)

mac can be seen on any network...
Double OS on a MAC? You can run Virtual PC if you want.
If your PC has a Windows2000 or NT, Macs can see it and
    vice-versa.

Well there you go. You can run Windows on Mac OSX but you will need Virtual PC which comes standalone or with the Professional Edition of Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac.

Depending on your computer speed and the version of Windows you are trying to install there will probably be sluggish performance running the Windows OS.

As cyberprince said, you can use Virtual PC to run Windows on a Mac. You will take a significant performance hit though. What kind of apps will you be using? There's a good chance that you'll be able to find native Mac OS X versions of those apps
