    Default P900 on Mac

    Hi!

Newbie here, and I tried searching for the same topic but didn't get any hits Anyway, i'm using a SE P900. It comes with a cradle for syncing my stuff to a pc.

I just got myself an iBook. It's the 14" G4, but I didn't have the BT installed coz I figured I could still install the software for my phone and use the cradle for syncing.

However, the software isn't compatible with macs. Is there anyone who has a mac version of the software that syncs P900s into a mac? Uh, is there such a thing, even? I just wanna weigh my options before deciding to get that BT module.

    Thanks for the help!

Hi Wershwie! welcome to Philmug. Check this troubleshooting page. (Courtesy of this site.)

I haven't tried myself but this might help.

i'm afraid i might not be the right person to ask but have you tried turning your phone off and then on, then pair it again.

What do you use to detect your P900? is it iSync or the or the Bluetooth Setup Assistant? Put your phone to discoverable mode and scan it with iSync.

Used it before when i still have my P8

i used the bluetooth assistant for getting my pcitures and it works. when i use the isync, it cannot detect it at all. i just find it weird that one can find and the other cannot :wound:

agree. use isync to detect your p900 and then you can sync it with your ibook. Also, check out www.apple.com/isync for the p900 support. The cd that came with your P900 is only for windows. The p900/p910i does not have support yet.

My cousin's hubby uses his p910i to sync with his powerbook (via isync).
