Have you tried Data Blitz, CUBIX?

yup Arel, they have books for PC but almost none for Mac. On some branches, the sales ladies would give you that puzzled look when you ask about MAC. Like they haven't heard of it before. HELLO?

Just what kind of "Mac Books" are you exactly after? If you are looking for OS X reference or instructional books, there isn't much locally. Your best bet would be Amazon. If you are looking for books on programs/software like Adobe, Macromedia and the likes, you just have to check on the book itself and you'll see that it applies to both Mac and Windows platform. Micromind, Data Blitz, Powerbooks, Fullybooked and even National Bookstore carries a decent collection of them. I even chanced upon an IMovie and Itunes book at Fullybooked (Page One) a few months back.

thanks hacksaw. try to check Amazon.
Was hoping to find instructional books like Missing manuals of David Pogue.

Once you get past the fundamentals, read Ted Landau's Mac OS X Disaster Relief. It's the 21st century successor to the equally excellent but sadly outdated Sad Macs, Bombs and Other Disasters by the same author, who happens to be the guy behind the MacFixIt website. Each page of Disaster Relief is a veritable motherlode of information. I know its saved my butt countless times.
If you want a real gem of a book, try Landau's Mac OS X Help Line, Panther Edition.

Actually, Macromind carries a few Mac books, though some of them are rather dated. For example, I got my copy of Ted Landau's Sad Macs, Bombs, and Disasters (3E) there, including the excellent Pogue/Schorr Mac and PowerMac Secrets (3E) (Latest edition is titled Macworld Mac Secrets. The latest book I've found there is Aaron Hillegass's Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X (1E).
Mac books here are very rare, and National Bookstore and PowerBooks usually don't carry them. I have better luck with Fully Booked (formerly Page One) in PowerPlant, Rockwell, but their selection isn't wide either.
