    Default Mac Evangelist

I think most of us at one point have tried convincing our family, friends, colleagues, barkada (at madami pa) to switch to the Mac. But we always get the comment - Ok nga ang Mac, pero ang mahal eh...

Now we have a great weapon in the form of the "Mac Mini". Wala ng reason for not buying a Mac because of the price.

As I was writing this post, I convinced one friend to make a switch just by communicating via YM. He will have another friend buy it in the US and bring it with him back home. Since magaan at maliit, madali lang dalhin.

I am targetting 5 switchers before the end of February.

Sali na kayo, convert as many people to the Mac using the "Mac Mini" !

Arcy, you might wanna check on the international warranty. I believe the Mac Mini is considered a desktop and may not carry international warranty unlike a portable.

Just opened my e-mail and got confirmation from 2 friends who are seriously considering to make a switch to the Mac Mini Add this to the lead graphics artist in our office and I already have 4 switchers in 1 day and a few hours. This is scary, people will really move to the Mac in huge numbers.

It got me to thinking to apply for part time work in Best Buy to spruce up their Mac corner and sell tons of Mac Minis Hmmm..... Last month, I was thinking of the Apple store in Toronto pero malayo dito sa amin, while there is a Best Buy 15 minutes away.

Moving my target up to 20 switchers by the end of the month

Tama Patrick, I am really in overdrive.

Just opened YM and one friend who I just sent the Mac Mini link is thinking about it. His exact words "wow now you have me thinking of converting".

Pumped up talaga ! Applied through the Best Buy web site for part time work and after going through an online questionnaire, they said I will be scheduled for an interview :P

A good link that I found related to comparing the Mac Mini with a stripped down Dell PC. Something that you might use in convincing a PC user to switch to the "light" side of the force

    http://www.macworld.com/weblogs/editors/2005/01/miniapplesandoranges/index.php

Approaching half my target of 20 switchers ! The last one was hard kasi Microsoft certified, heavily into Windows server technology ang work niya. Pero naghahanap siya ng bagong computer sa bahay kaya perfect ang Mac Mini

Was on the phone with someone who works in cdw.com. According to him, they already crossed the 10,000 mark of Mac Mini pre-orders. I can already see Steve in Macworld 2006 showing a pie chart of the Mac market share in January 2005 compared to January 2006. Double digit market share yata ang target ng Apple by the end of the year.
