k700i themes

hi, im a newbie here, just want to ask how can i download a k700i themes from mobile9, been trying but i cannot open the "thm file". What application should i use in opening it? thanks in advance

hi mocha,

i tried going to the wap site and successfully downloaded a thm. file (elektra) to my phone. if you downloaded it to your mac, i don't think you wont be able to open it.

If i remember right, you transfer it to your phone, via bluetooth for instance, then open it from the themes menu or i think even from the file explorer, or was it from the gallery (?)

I cant check right now because my batt is dead and my charger is in the office!

Don't bother opening the .THM file on your Mac. After downloading the .THM file, transfer it to your K700i using Bluetooth. Once your phone receives the .THM file, it will prompt you whether you want to use the new theme or not. If you opt not to, you should be able to find the new theme you just transferred via File Manager > Themes

agree with the post. K700i can install the .thm for you if you bluetooth the file from your mac or windows pc to the phone.

Here's a tip. Drag Bluetooth File Exchange from the Applications/Utilities folder. Anytime you want to send a file to the phone via bluetooth, simply drag that file directly into the shortcut you just created in the dock. From there, you can select the your phone (or any BT device) as the recipient of that file (.thm, jpg, wav, etc.).

Another way to do it is to select Browse Device from the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and use file browser to manage files and folders inside the phone.
