im a virgin when i comes to mac and i encountered some problems

i bought a second-hand imac from my friend and i was excited to connect it to my zire 71. the first hotsync operation run smoothly but when i transported my mac to my apartment, it wont sync anymore. I tried using "Card Export" in my palm to use it as a card reader and it worked. I was not aware that I need to click on the card reader icon first and choose "eject" before physically unplugging the palm. and it displayed " your disk was not properly disconnected" but i ignored that message. After a few successful use of my palm as a card reader, and after doing that wrong procedure-- the next time i attempted to use my palm as a card reader again, it displayed "You have inserted a disk containing no volumes That Mac OSX can read. to continue with the disk inserted, click ignore" when i clicked ignore nothing happened, PLEASEEEEE HELP ME

i guees you screwed up the directory. If you have access to DiskWarrior or similar utilities try it and cross your fingers.

Is there important data on the card? If not, reformatting the card should fix it. If you have important data on the card, can you access it from a PC?
