Mac OS X already has PHP and the Apache Webserver installed.

Do you know how to edit Apache's config files? Coz the PHP module is currently commented out. You'll have to uncomment a few lines in the config file to enable it. I had help from http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2002/01/04/apache_macosx_pt3.html.

After that it's as simple as starting the web server from the Sharing pane of the Preferences app.

As for WYSIWYG web editing, Macromedia Dreamweaver is available for the Mac.

You'll probably need MySQL as well. Check here

    Again, bumping is frowned upon.

Check here. I personally have not heard of anyone developing using XCode.
