First, you need to register an account at AIM

Next, you open up iChat and go to Preferences, then accounts. Then type in your screen name and password. Then, press command-L to log in, or in the menu iChat > Log in. Then all you have to do is add a buddy by clicking on the + sign at the lower left. My AIM name is yagballs22 if you need any further assistance.

Do you have a webcam ?? Firewire or USB 1 or 2 ??

Yagballs, OK to put you in my buddy list ?

If you want to try a full video + audio chat (no typing needed), put me in your buddy list,
    tscotom@mac.com.

    Cheers,

You can do a one-way video chat. Just right-click (or CTRL-click) on the buddy in iChat's Buddy List and choose one-way video chat

Here's a list of how to reach everyone in iChat/AIM, Yahoo, etc.

Yahoo messenger but just video (choppy & jerky though but tolerable), no audio on the Mac is supported.

no Video or audio for MSN messenger, just chat via typing.

Just search philmug threads for "iSight", some good discussions there.

    Christmas Cheers,
