About LinkBacksI've been using an external firewire hd for a while now and I've had no problems with it til today...
It won't mount. I see it in the System Profiler as well as in Disk Utility but it just won't mount. I've tried restarting my Tibook, using a different firewire cable, and updating to 10.3.6. I even tried using an application called Mount Me! to force it to mount but no luck still.
I'd appreciate any suggestions...

hi!
did you have any problem before you disconnected the HDD? i remembered that mine didnt mount before because it hanged and the only way for me to access the HDD was to restart my computer. im not sure if its the same as what happened to you. the only solution that was given to me was to reformat the drive.
