About LinkBacksMy laptop crashed while I was trying to access some files on a data cd.
it happened 3 times. is it possible that the cd is making my computer somehow malfunction?

can a bad cd make your system crash?

some data corruption on cds can confuse your system...

Possible. But the worse it can do is crash Finder, not the whole system. Eject the CD, force quit finder and then it should be ok when Finder restarts.
