Apple website download problem

I'm not really sure where to post this.

I'm using a G3 chiclet, OS X 10.2.8 and I connect to the internet via dial-up. Downloading from the Apple website is a pain. I've tried using speed downloader but it doesn't resume for some reason. No problem w/ speed downloader because it works for other websites.

Is there anyway solution to this? Or do I have to just grit my teeth everytime the connection gets cut and start over?
