About LinkBacksi finally bought myself a mac.
i got a good deal from amazon. i bought an ibook g4 800Mhz for only $994 less $100 rebate = $894.
that's why i did not have any second thoughts on buying it since i've been lurking in the mac forums for almost a year now before i finally had the courage to take the plunge. i just have to wait for a few weeks before my aunt from the US can bring it here. argh! can't wait! but finally, i can call myself a true mac user than just a mac poser. i just have to agonize for a few weeks while waiting for it to arrive. this would be my very first mac and i hardly have an idea on how to use it since i've been a windows user all my life.
but i'm really excited about it. finally!!!

BTW, I actually felt bad when I got that infamous "you have done an illegal procedure..." in that PC I happened to work on yonks ago...*8(

thanks guys. i guess without philmug, i wouldn't be convinced to buy myself a mac. this forum is really a great place to start for newbies like me. look forward to hearing naive newbie questions from me soon. for now, i'll just educate myself by reading in this forum as well as going thru the manual.

just remember, for any series of commands you used to make on windows, on the mac there always at least a button less to press.
