    Default LaCie Repair?

Does anyone know of a place that workds on LaCie LCD monitors? I brought myine with me from the US and it need warranty repair...BUT LaCie wants me to ship it back to the states.

Seems it would be cheaper to pay for repair here myself than ship it to the states.

    Any info would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Skip Nal

Labor is defintely cheap in the philippines no argument with that.

If your LCDs monitors got easy to fix problems then it comes with an easy to fix solution like a busted fuse or a busted switch that needs to be change. But when it comes to those chips, I don't know.

When I was having a session with IT, one of my friends brought her old laptop with her probably about 3 yrs old. IT people got a look and told her, buy a new one since repairing this laptop would cost you a fortune. In the UK, you could get a laptop as cheap as 250-300 pounds....
