if i were in your shoes, the major i would favor most would be the one that I feel like I would like doing the most. Meaning, if I were to have this major as a life long career, doing this task over and over would seem more like playing than work per se.
so this aspect really is up to you.
i for one, took up computer engineering with a major in networking. When I first started my career, I was doing networking and tech support. It felt more like play than work and I really enjoyed it. Although now, my primary role is in IT Security.
Also, after choosing a path, it would be even better if you specialize in something that few people know and is highly in demand.
Good luck!

If you feel up to it, I'd still go for #3 Programming/Computer Science. That'll give you the fundamentals that'll equip you to better specialize in any of the other "applied fields" mentioned.

Problem is.. that there isn't much to go on other than the "general" outline you have. Based on the general choices above, I would say career wise would be a combination of 2 (1 and 3). But if you can only go with 1, choose the 1st option for business organization and project management. Troops are always easy to hire.. its finding those Lieutenants who can become Generals that is hard.

jbd is right!
A combination of 1 and 3 is the right path.

Or you can go the #1 and #6 way (Database admin ka muna, then the 'general')
with #1 and #3 (Code warrior ka muna)
I think DBA's get paid better than coders...

wow!!! thank you all for your posts.... seems like nobody's recommending choices #'s 2 & 5.....
1,3,4 & 6 had been recommended...#3 Programming/CompScie being the popular choice....is it possible to take more than 1 major in this field? then i would need to choose between 1,4 & 6...
