Go to My Computer, right click on the DVD drive, and then choose Eject.

Have you tried restarting your mac? When it boots and open the finder, drag the icon of the installer to the trash (or another way is click the icon and then click the eject button of the installer in the window that opens up).
I recently encountered similar problem but with the leopard installer disk. What I did was (following instructions from Apple Support), restarted the mac and as soon as i heard the sound, pressed together the keys O+F. The result was a terminal-like screen where I simply typed eject cd and it worked. That i'm not sure to be applicable in your case as it was with a leopard installer disk.
When all else fails, bring your mac to your suking service center. If it's still under warranty, no fee to pay. Just the inconvenience of travel and probably conflict with your schedule.
Be a dreamer. Follow your bliss.

Ah, this is simple: Open Windows Explorer/My Computer and right click on the DVD drive - you will see an option to Eject. Left click to eject the disc.
