Help: Thunderbird 1.02

Folks,

For several days now, we've been having problem sending emails from Thunderbird using our gmail (smtp.gmail.com) account. I've followed Gmail's online email settings for Thunderbird down to the last note, but everytime we're sending a mail, Thunderbird keeps prompting for our Gmail's password even if we've already entered the correct password (upon prompt) several times.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
