Help with InDesign + imagesetter setup...

Has anyone here successfully created a pro print setup using InDesign (windows & mac) to an imagesetter running on a winme rip server? im assisting a local print shop to move from pagemaker to indesign but were having major issues with regards to printing to the imagesetter over the network. the setter is a linotronic 530, all computers use dhcp, and using latest version of indesign cs1.

here are the major problems encountered so far:

• on windows (xp/2k), the imagesetter can accessed from the print dialogue but you cant select the ppd settings, its greyed-out, so the default indesign page size settings cant be changed.

• on mac (tiger/panther), although page size settings are fully accessible including options for cmyk sep. the imagesetter cant be detected over the network when printing.

any assistance would be appreciated. :sigh:
