Help! Configuring Dial-up Networking between a Powerbook and a Nokia 7610 via BT
I've paired my Nokia 7610 with my Powerbook using the BT setup assistant and set the dial-up telephone number to *99***#. I've tried the Nokia Infra-red modem script and the Nokia 6210-8XXX modem scripts and I can't seem to get a connection.
Anything I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.
Am on the Globe network with MMS and GPRS configured already on my phone.

GPRS over phone uses Globe's WAP gateway. Globe's WAP gateway is filtered a different way wherein the globe website is free and everything else is chargeable.
If you're going to use your laptop to browse you have you use Globe's Internet gateway (where everything is chargeable/KB downloaded. The only difference in configuration is the APN. Instead of "www.globe.com.ph", it should be "internet.globe.com.ph".
Hope that helps.
