i noticed no one has posted a topic on this and i think it would be very informative to let other firefox users know ...

so, what are your useful Firefox Browser extensions?

Slightly off topic. Have you seen the latest issue of WIRED magazine?

I have a copy, but lent it out the day I got it, so I haven't read it yet. If you're interested in reading it, it'll be in the meeting on Saturday.

I have Firefox but I haven't used it nor do I understand it's wonders. Would love to read through your mag this Saturday. See you then.

I did some research. For the benefit of everyone:

Firefox Extensions

Extensions are small add-ons that add new functionality to Firefox. They can add anything from a toolbar button to a completely new feature. They allow the browser to be customized to fit the personal needs of each user if they need additional features, while keeping Firefox small to download .

I use the web developer toolbar extension--makes it very easy to take apart sites I like to see how they were done.

i've been using firefox almost exclusively since it came out.

my favorite extension is adblock (don't have to describe what that does)

here's my own firefox tip:

open four or five of your favorite sites using tabbed browsing, go to preferences, and choose "current pages" as your homepadge. next time you open firefox, you'll have all these pages load at once--no more clicking!
