Default Expanding the virtual HD on Parallels

Has anyone here tried expanding the HD of their virtual machine on Parallels? I started out with 8 gigs but needed more so I used the Image Tool Utility to increase it 16. Whenever I boot up Windows though, it still remains at 8

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this?

Default Re: Expanding the virtual HD on Parallels

Ok, after much frustration and hair pulling, I finally found the answer. I'll post it here in case anyone else runs into the same problem:

It's read as a partition on the virtual PC. After what seemed hours of digging through messy PC folders, I found an icon called "Computer Management" and under it "Storage". This manages your disks.

I found that this disk reads the new batch of available HD as a partition

Now, to find someone who has PC knowledge to know how to format this partition, hehe... That should be easy enough :P
