thanks for the heads up! does anyone know how to install vista through this? the catch is that the cd that i have is the update cd of vista, not the real installer. i read in an article that you can use it as a fully functional cd to have a clean install of vista, even if you have xp. that's what i plan to do, but with boot camp. does anyone know how to do this?

how about if you have vista already installed in parallels, do you still have to reinstall vista once you've downloaded and installed bootcamp? TIA

yes you still have to install vista on bootcamp...

i just did and it's runs pretty well...

although if you did that, you can have parallels use the vista / bootcamp partition and act like a virtual machine.

im running windows xp pro
i updated my bootcamp

i think something is wrong.. blue screen galore... it just doesnt want to go to windows normally.

anyone knows this problem?
