Well I don't have your Mac's specs.
Run the Apple Software Update that is installed on your Windows. Hopefully it has something for your Mac. Windows Update also check hardware drivers. Just choose the update that pertains to a sound card.
Google up Windows (your version) installations on your Mac model. See if there are issues. If there is none then it was an installation problem. Perhaps a corrupt disc.
If you are not up to this, just bring your Mac to Ynzal.
