Re: Macintosh Operating System Version 9 Mac OS 9 is still commercial software SOLD at Apple authorized resellers (only versions 7.5.5 and earlier can be freely downloaded from Apple).
Mac OS 9 will not fit on a 20MB hard drive (only System 6 - 7.5.5 will fit). You'll need at least a 230MB hard drive to fit just the OS and extras.
