Useful dashboard trick

Not sure if this has been posted here, but here goes anyway, just feel free to delete this thread kung meron na.

We all know about the F12 trick that can put widgets in the desktop while dragging the widget icon out of the well and pressing F12 again.

But there's a better extension to that trick that can make you drag ACTIVE widgets to and from the desktop to your hearts content.

Type this in terminal:

defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES

Then restart your dock (the quickest way is a "killall Dock" in terminal)

Now you can do that F12 trick above even on your active widgets
