Updating to Tiger, Some Qs
while waiting for the Tiger release in the Philippines, im already planning to back-up my files when suddenly i had these questions in mind?
1. how do i back-up or save a copy of my contacts in the address book?
2. how to copy my iTunes library and all it's tag (album art, genre..)
without going to the long process of uploading tags again from the
net?
3. do i need to install my games (pacman, bounce, text twist)... again?
4. stickies?
thanks!

Don't do a clean install and you will retain all your apps and preferences. This would include your games. As for your backup, just carbon copy what you want saved.
If some apps don't work they probably are incompatible with Tiger.

Here's one that's incompatible: Bit Torrent.
Ticks me off greatly that Tiger doesn't play nice with BT. Thank God Bits on Wheels still works.

You can still use Azureus... though I prefer to use Bittorrent on my linux machines.

What about apps like Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, etc? How do I install Tiger without risking losing them? This will be my first time to upgrade OS so am new to things...
