    happened to me yesterday too...

Try to power down or reboot. Upon rebooot hold down the eject button...

If for some reason your PB doesn't want to power down, there's a stuck process that needs to be 'forced to quit', press command+option+esc and try restarting the finder just to be able to shut down.

    Good Luck.

Less than a month ago, this happened to my friend's AlBook. He tried everything by the book but was not able to do it by himself. The guys from P. Guevarra did it, and the culprit was a warped CD. So, if all things fail, you know where to go.

Hello gabym, and welcome to PhilMUG.

I noticed you posted this question also on another thread. In the future, please know that it's not necessary to post questions twice, especially on a totally unrelated forum.

We also have a nifty feature here called Search. If you look at the upper right hand corner, it's right there. If you had typed in "eject", Search would have taken you to this thread:

Maybe your answers are there already. Enjoy the forum!

This happened to my iMac before. I tried everything and eventually brought it to Ynzal. They opened it up and removed it that way. It was also a warped CD.

Warped CDs/DVDs are the most common reasons why cd's get stucked on a slot loading drives...

Try re-starting your computer, then press the whole trackpad key. Happened to me before, and it forced the CD out. Hope this helps

While rebooting, press the Eject button non-stop until the disc is ejected... worked for me...

If you hear the notebook trying to eject it but it wont come out, you may have a warped disc that gets stuck...
