Tiger Up-to-date program
According to the Tiger Up-to-date program page the cutoff is April 12, but the fineprint says for the United States and Canada only. Does this mean the the "grace period" is longer of countries other than the US or Canada? Or is the April 12 cutoff a global cutoff date?

.. or they may be no grace period at all for countries other than the US and Canada. This scenario is more realistic IMHO.

The Up-to-Date program is valid in Asia.
I used the program to get my iLife 05 from Apple Center.
However, the cut-off is the same worldwide. If you buy a Mac unit locally after April 12, you will be able to get Tiger as part of the up-to-date program. All it takes is some good coordination with your Dealer. It took a month for my request, but it did come through.

I don't think so longbeard, those covered by the up-to-date program will still have to wait until Tiger is actually officially released on April 29.

I have specific questions for those who have gone through the UpToDate process, or for those familiar with the details:
1. If I mail my up-to-date order form, how do I pay? In the form, there's no other option other than credit card, and the form indicates "credit card orders only via fax".
2. What's the marketing part number? I'm not sure if that's indicated in my Accent Micro sales receipt. Is marketing part number the same as the serial number?
Thanks, and sorry to the moderators. I didn't know that a thread on this exists.
