Looks good. Performance and memory usage are pretty similar to Safari (no surprise). Kudos to the developers for making Shiira an open source project.

I hope they realize that they need to do something more with it to make it a viable browser alternative (mouse gestures for Opera, different way of handling tabs for Omniweb). GUI needs a lot of work, and just as fast as Safari, but will definitely try future versions.

Shiira now feels like Firefox with integrated spell checking

Shiira updated to 1.1 check out exposé tab preview and the useless (cool yet bordering on the cheesy) page transition effect.

Stability has improved but still not as stable as Firefox or Safari on my end.

is this a joke? the last thing i want when im browsing is frequent stability problems... im stiking with safari/firefox. maybe version 2 will actually become usable. :dead:

Anyone tried Mozilla Camino? It looks really elegant but it's still a bit unstable. Current 'stable' version is 0.8.x so it still has a long way to go before version 1.0.

shiira is cool especially the tabbed expose feature,
