    Default Sharing tiger

Hi my bro and I would like to split the tiger software for each of our comps. Can we use just one copy of tiger to install it on each of our pb's? We're trying to cut down on expenses. thanks

Of course you can. The question though is should you? That's considered software piracy.

If you and your bro still live in the same household, theoretically you can opt for the family pack, it's valid for 5 macs. A wee bit cheaper, but still legit.

I don't know the technicality of family pack licensing if you're living in different locations (aka the legal definition of a household).

Well, if you want licensed copies, you can always buy 2 copies of Tiger for $129 each for a total of $258.

Or, like everyone else says, buy the family pack for $199, that's a $59 savings, even if you only have 2 computers.

In my case, there are 3 Macs at home, and probably a 4th soon. I'm getting the Family Pack.

I think the terms and conditions of the license are quite clear naman.

We have two Macs in the house. I'm wishing I can buy a Family Pack. Or both Yapi and I can afford to buy new Macs na lang.

FYI, Amazon.com is offering a $50 mail-in rebate on Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger Family Pack until May 31, making the final price $149.99.

It's $129 for a Single User license. What if I'm a Single User of 2 Macs (that I own, and that I'm the only user of)? Can it be shared between these 2 Macs then?

    Yeah, same question here!
