    Default reviews for 10.3?

I'm debating whether or not to install 10.3. Any reviews out there? Anything I should watch out for?

What is the spec of your Mac? You must have at least have enough ram to enjoy it, like anything in computing nowadays.

im using a stock iBook 800 G4 with 256MB memory running on 10.3.3...no problems here, if ever your concerned with bugs and programs not running on 10.3.3 you wouldn't have any problem...as mike says...you must have enough memory for that

If your Mac can handle it, then go for it. Been using it since early December '03 and it's been smooth sailing all the way. And it's fast, almost OS 9-fast. :-)

Yeah. Installed 10.3.3 onto a 500Mhz G3 iBook with 190mb RAM. No worries as well.

Here's one of the most comprehensive reviews I've ever read on Panther.
For me, Fast User Switching, Exposé, the Unix changes, and the comprehensive performance improvements make Panther a more significant OS update than Jaguar. Like Jaguar before it, it is nearly impossible to recommend against upgrading to Panther. Mac OS X's development process is a train that's leaving the station with or without you. The message to users is clear: "Get onboard."

    Default OS 10.3

Many thanks for all the advice, guys. Mike, I'm using a 15 inch tibook, 867 mhz and 256 MB RAM. Am a perennial late adopter; I prefer to let henjie and butch blaze the trail and then benefit from their experience.

Go ahead take the plunge... just backup your important files. As soon as you can, make your ram around the 512mb mark and you'll do even better.

Look for 2nd hand rams at the mac classified ads sections.
