About LinkBacksi want to edit html... seems that text edit doesn't allow us to save as html. script editor gives me some problems as well. what software built in mac osx 10.3 provide us something like note pad of windows.
i remember i used one software like note pad before. forgot the software name but it was definitely built in 10.2.8
any suggestions?

Sure it will.
Simply make sure that you're using plain text. Do Save As and name the file as <whateveryouwant>.html (don't append ".txt"
.
I've used TextEdit for quick changes to HTML code.

Try textwrangler by Bare Bones Software - Freeware, syntax coloring. documents
drawer and SFTP support.
