Default Mac software that can be used to create and send full HTML NEWSLETTERS

Nothing that needs any programming knowledge

Preferably something that already has a good number of templates which you can just tailor fit to your content.

SAYANG. I was already so hyped up to use PAGES. The designs were EXCELLENT! Exactly the kind of simple layouting that I wanted, but when i tried to export the templates to html, they all came out wrong (even though Pages itself assured of Safari-compatibility). Tables, text, graphics were all over the place.

    Same result on camino.

Definitely can't use those for html newsletters, but will try again.

All of this will be a part of the redesigning of the Children's Hour website. I would like for there to be a part where you can sign up for a weekly / monthly newsletter where you can read about our latest projects, who the new (individual and corporate) donors are, and how you can help out even more.

Thus, the need for software that can do this. (Ok ok, I'll also take some PC-based suggestions hehehe

Anyone know of any such software?

    THANKS!

Netscape 7.2 (or any 7.x) has a built-in WYSIWYG HTML composer when you Compose a new e-mail. Just make sure that HTML e-mail option is enabled (should be default). I don't think Netscape has pre-built templates, though.

i'd go with dude_funk on this. i use Netscape to send out HTML (that were made in Dreamweaver). I wanted to use Mail but I can't seem to load HTML and send it correctly. Is there a plugin that will enable me to do this?

easiest way... do everything in word (using templates if you like) then save as html, works pretty well.

i agree with dude_funk, netscape's free email client is still the best tool for html email. most of the e-newsletters and high end spam are done with this application. if you want to administer bulk mailing newsletters another tool is– MaxBulk Mailer X (www.maxprog.com), i got a copy of this when i bought MacAddict magazine (with a free CD of apps & demos) a few years back. i think you can download a trial version.
